Film performance also depends on installation. Sharp edges, poor tension, weak fixing points and uncontrolled flapping can damage otherwise suitable material.
Insect net and shade net have different purposes from greenhouse film and change airflow and light. Their use should be based on crop, pest pressure, season and ventilation strategy.
When comparing quotations, ask for the covering specification, fixing method and included accessories rather than accepting a generic description such as greenhouse plastic.
